A traditional way of cutting lumber where the grain on the planks is at a 0-30° angle. Wood is graded Select, #1 Common, or #2 Common. Flooring is normally made using #1 and #2 Common (the Select is sold off to furniture companies). Our most popular grade is our Rustic/Select mix. This is achieved by combining #1 Common and #2 Common and milling them together to create a unique blend.
